This is a trying time for all of us, with a lot of uncertainty about the future.
As providers of essential plumbing services, we are taking our role in reducing the risk of COVID-19 to our customers, and ourselves, seriously. On top of keeping up to date with the latest coronavirus developments, we have undertaken the Infection Control Training – COVID 19 run by the Department of Health.
We have incorporated the following into our daily procedures to protect both you, and our workers, from the risk of COVID-19:
Increased hygiene - We have always taken hygiene seriously, as a sick customer or worker is not good for out business. however we have now increased our hand washing, wiping down of equipment between jobs, and other practices as recommended by the Australia Government.
Adherence to social distancing procedures - We are ensuring to maintain a respectful and safe distance from you in your home.
Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) - We have invested in equipment recommended by the Australian Government to protect you, our customers, and ourselves when in your home.
Ensuring our customers are healthy before arriving - if a customer is sick we will work with them to reschedule their work. If the job is an emergency we will work with them to reduce interaction and increase our PPE.
Working from home - where possible we have staff working from home to reduce the risk.
No contact greetings and farewells - we know hand shakes go a long way, but we also know it can increase the spread a long way. As a result we'll be greeting customers with a nod (and our beautiful smiles of course).
